Verdun Harry Kelsey Jr, passed away on October 13, 2024 at the age of 76, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished for generations.
Born on October 9, 1948 in Ft Worth, Texas, Verdun enjoyed making every moment an adventure and every person a friend.
He worked up until his retirement at Halliburton and was deeply passionate about his wife Sharon and spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
Verdun is survived by his wife, Sharon Kelsey, his two sisters, Mary Atkinson, Karen (Gavin)Phillips and his brother James(Gloria) Kelsey. His four sons, Shawn(Tina) Kelsey, Phillip (Belinda) Kelsey, Scott(Connie) Kelsey, Travis (Katy) Kelsey, stepdaughter, Rainey(Mike) Teel, stepson, Walter Maultsby, sixteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews. All who will forever miss his smile, wisdom, and incomparable sense of humor. Though the world feels a little dimmer without him, the impact he made continues to shine through those who knew and loved him.
Verdun is proceeded in death by his father & mother ,Verdun Kelsey Sr. & Edna Kelsey, and his nephew Gavin Phillips.
A celebration of Verduns life will be held at a later date to come.
