Vera McAulay FORT WORTH -- Vera McAulay , 102, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 3 at Shannon Rose Hill 7301 E Lancaster Fort Worth, Texas, 76112. She was born on August 4, 1915, in Fort Worth, Texas. Vera was one out of eight children. She had six brothers and one sister. On October 20, 1935, she married her true love in Dallas, Texas but resided in Albuquerque, N.M. for over 40 years. Bill and Vera retuned back to Fort Worth are in 1987 after his retirement as Chief of Intelligence Division of the IRS in 1974. They lived in Burleson and then in Edge Cliff Village until his death on September 23, 1995. Vera resided at Brookdale Lake Arlington for the past 2 1/2 years. SURVIVORS: She is survived by her son, Bob McAulay and his wife, Ann; two grandchildren, Sara and Jeffrey; and two great-grandchildren, Zev and Orli.
