Mrs. M. Valeria Devilbiss Guittar, age 90, of Hilton Head Island, SC and formerly of El Paso, TX died Thursday, October 05, 2017 at Bloom of Hilton Head. Mrs. Guittar was born on March 22, 1927 in Hoboken, GA, the daughter of the late John Henry and Lula Mae Dowling. She worked as a Key Punch Operator with Standard Oil where she was instrumental in creating the combined computer station in Denver, CO. Along with her husband, she later opened and co-owned a package store in El Paso until retiring. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed golf, playing cards, volunteering, and was active with the Horizon City Country Club and First Baptist Church. Mrs. Guittar was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Johnny Devilbiss and her husband of 27 years, Jack Guittar. She is survived by her son, Joe Devilbiss (Liz); daughter, Beth Zimmerman; sister, Rose Lee Calhone; brother, Paul Dowling (Lois); grandchildren, Robert, Steven, Amanda, Margaret, and Sandra; and great-grandchildren, Brandon, Travis, Dillon, Amanda, Erin, Zach, Christopher, Andrew, Joey and Sarah and five great-great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., 20th day of Oct, 2017 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, TX. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the
