Ursula King passed away September 3, 2015 at her home after a long illness, she was 88. Ursula was born on November 28 1926 in Magdeburg, Germany. She was raised during the early stages of World War II and as young teenager escaped Germany to Austria where she worked in various positions including as a secretary/interpreter for the US Army until after the War. She met her first husband, Jack Pierce, in Austria and was married in 1953 and then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1953 she and her husband moved to Yuma, where she made a life with her family. Her husband passed away in 1961 and she continued to raise her son Jack. In 1965 she embarked on a long and successful career selling real estate for Paustell Realty. In 1969 she married her second husband, Joe King and they established Paustell-King Realty which they both ran until her retirement in 1980.Ursula and Joe traveled the world after their retirement and enjoyed new adventures and destinations until his passing in 1993. Ursula is survived by her son; Jack Pierce, Joe King and his wife Susie King, daughters; Terri Groezinger and her husband Bill Groezinger and Toni George along with her husband Jack George. She also has eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Private family services were held in accordance with her wishes and the family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Alzheimer's research.
