Luan Uq Luani, 23, of Albania, passed away tragically on October 8, 2023, in an accident in Albania. Luan, who preferred to go by their first name, was born on September 8, 2000, in Albania.

Luan was the beloved child of the late Bernice (nee Grobchowski) and John Abramczyk. They were also a loving sibling to Susan Kenast, the late Barbara Johnson, Kathryn Abramczyk, and Gerald Abramczyk.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects to Luan at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, located at 530 West 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights, on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On Friday, October 13, 2023, Luan will be lying in state at St John Neumann Parish/St Joseph Church, 17951 S Dixie Highway Homewood, from 10:30 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Private interment will follow.
