We mourn the loss of Tyrone Simon, who was born on May 22, 1957, and passed away on December 6, 2025, in his home in Stone Mountain, Georgia, United States.

Tyrone was the beloved spouse of April Britt, whom he married in 1985. Together, they raised one daughter, Sabrina Britt, who is married to Kelvin Simmons. They were also blessed with two precious grandchildren.

Tyrone dedicated many years of his life to working at Emory, where he made a lasting impact on those around him. He retired in the year 2000 and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends in his retirement.

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Tyrone Simon, who battled kidney failure until the very end. May his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
