Turquoise Mayo was born on July 4, 1979, in Reading, Pennsylvania, United States, to her loving parents George L. Thomas and Lydia A. Mayo Turquoise was predeceased by her Grandparents Charles Booker and Shirley Mayo. She peacefully departed from this world on September 20, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and a profound sense of loss. Turquoise resided in Reading, Pennsylvania, throughout her life and was a beloved member of her community.

Turquoise shared a deeply loving relationship with her partner, Nate Atkinson, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Together, they raised a beautiful family, nurturing five wonderful children named Indira Josephs, Tivonna Josephs, Ceyani Atkinson, LaMiah Atkinson, and Jaylen Atkinson. Turquoise's love and dedication to her children knew no bounds, and she made it her life's mission to provide them with the best possible future. Turquoise also leaves behind a brother Ivan K. Towles and two sisters Marquita Innocent and Shanique Cordon

Turquoise received her education at Reading Senior High School, where she excelled academically. With unwavering determination, she graduated in the class of 1997 and embarked on a fulfilling journey ahead.

Throughout her career, Turquoise found tremendous fulfillment in her role as a Traveling CNA. Her compassionate nature and dedication to caring for others made her an invaluable asset to her profession. Turquoise touched the lives of countless individuals, providing comfort and support during times of difficulty and need.

Turquoise Mayo's departure has left an immense void in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her infectious laughter, loving spirit, and kind heart will be remembered and cherished forever.
