I'm deeply saddened and still in disbelief over the passing of Toya. She will be forever remembered for her big personality and even bigger smile that brightened any place she entered. She never met a stranger and her big heart and love for people was always on display. Praying for her children and the rest of her family as they navigate through this difficult season. Toya Guthrie, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend of Winston Salem, North Carolina, passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 54. She was born on June 12, 1970, and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and kindness. Toya was known for her infectious smile and compassionate heart. She had a passion for helping others and always put the needs of those around her before her own. Toya will be remembered for her unwavering faith and the impact she had on everyone she met. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love and generosity will live on forever.
