It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tony Hopkinson, who peacefully left this world on July 27, 2024, in Georgetown, Demerara-Mahaica, Guyana. Tony was born on May 18, 1954, to Clinton and June Hopkinson.

Tony is survived by his loving son, Siege Hopkinson. He was also a proud grandfather to his grandchildren.

Tony attended Saint Joseph High School and graduated in 1972. He had a passion for swimming, fishing, and listening to reggae music. He enjoyed spending quality time with his son and granddaughter whenever he could.

Despite his battle with cancer, Tony remained strong and courageous until the end. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
