Timothy Paul KeltonAge: 68 • Stuarts DraftStuarts Draft, VA - Timothy (Tim) Paul Kelton, 68, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 2, 2017. He took heart in Romans 8:18 "I consider that the suffering of our present life cannot be compared with the Glory that will be revealed and given to us". Tim was born on April 29, 1948 in Kansas City, Mo., son of the late Frank Kelton and Myda Norine Falls Kelton. He spent his life in humble service to Jesus. He loved and touched the lives of many generations through his preaching, teaching, and missionary work. Until the end he remained deeply committed to his wife, family, and those in need of his Savior. With the Bible as his guide through life, he would challenge many people he encountered to tell him their favorite scripture; his was, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever" Hebrews 13:8. What is yours? In addition to his father and mother, a sister, Marquita Clevenger, a brother, Nathan Kelton, and a brother-in-law, Duane Clevenger, also preceded him in passing. Survivors include his beloved bride of 47 years, Claudia Sue Fannin Kelton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela & Richard Beadles and Valerie & Jeremy Kong; one son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan & Katie Kelton; five grandchildren, Courtney Beadles, Caleb Kong, Micah Kelton, Gavin Kelton, and Jace Kelton; brother and sister-in-law, David & Brinda Kelton; sister-in-law, Donna Saine Kelton; brother-in-law and wife, Larry & Sun Fannin; nieces, Lori Kelton, Christy Castro, Holly Daly, and Natalie Kelton; Nephews, Tony Fannin, Jody Ballenger, and Tejay Ballenger; and many other beloved extended family members, cherished friends, and brothers & sisters in Christ. A memorial service in celebration of Tim's life will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at SherLynd Baptist Church, 20 Winterview Lane, Lyndhurst, VA. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. A private graveside service will be held on Friday January 6, 2017 at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro VA. Active Pallbearers will be Jonathan Kelton, Richard Beadles, Jeremy Kong, Caleb Kong, Mike Lawson, Steve Campbell, Troy Lewis and Jay Snyder. Memorial donations may be made to Comfort Care Women's Health or the FSH Society.
