Timothy Compton, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 30, 2025, in Largo, Maryland. Born on June 15, 1973, to Joseph Lewis and Vinney “Vi” Compton, Timothy lived a full and vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
In 2002, Timothy married the love of his life, Charlotte Lewis, and together they raised five wonderful children - Dequan, Arrington, Demitrius, Brianna, and Denise. Timothy was also blessed with four adoring grandchildren who brought endless joy into his life.
Timothy attended Largo High School, graduating in 1991. He then pursued higher education at American Public University, graduating in 2018. Timothy's career as a Paralegal Specialist at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia was a source of great pride and fulfillment for him.
Outside of work, Timothy had many passions, including reading books, spending time with his family, grilling delicious meals, learning about different cultures, and traveling to new destinations. His zest for life and curiosity about the world knew no bounds.
Timothy's warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be deeply missed. His courageous battle with cancer serves as a testament to his strength and resilience.
Timothy leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by all who knew him. May he rest in peace and may his memory continue to bring comfort and joy to those who loved him.
