March 23, 1959 - March 12, 2017 Timothy John Kraus went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2017 at the age of 57, after a courageous 3 ½ year battle with cancer. He was born on March 23, 1959 in San Antonio, Tx to Francis and Margie Kraus.Tim was a dedicated employee with Southern Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads. He ended his 37 year career as a Waste Water Treatment Plant Southern Regional Supervisor. Tim is survived by his wife of 34 years, Beverly (Estes) Kraus; his children, Matthew and Michelle Kraus, Megan and Jacob Garcia, Mason and Michelle Kraus; grandchildren, Brylee, Ainsley, Rylan Kraus, and Ayden Garcia; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Mary Ann Schaefer; cousins and close friends, Catherine Stannard and Tony Albonetti; ten brothers and sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Tim was a wonderful, husband, father, PeePaw, brother, and friend and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15 at 5:00pm with Rosary at 7:00pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 16 at 11:00am at Mission Park South. Interment to follow at Oak Island Cemetery.
