Rall, Sr., Thomas W.Thomas W. Rall, Sr. died in Ft Myers, FL on May 15, 2017 after a brief illness. He was 95 years old. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Louise Rall in 2001. He is survived by his three children: JoAnn Meagher Steed (John), Thomas W. Rall, Jr. (Susan), and Robert E. Rall (Rita). In addition, he is survived by his eight grandchildren, Matthew, Jonathan (Tracy), James, Thomas (Kristen), Nicole (David), Michael (Carlie), Lauren and Elizabeth (Blake) and five great grandchildren. Thomas was born on July 13, 1921, son of Edwin Rall and Mildred Hickey. He was predeceased by his brother Teddy.Thomas proudly graduated from BCC when he was in his fifties. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and served in the European conflict. Thomas was a true self-made man: he rose from patrolman to Chief of Police, City of Binghamton… a role he humbly cherished. He was the Captain of the "Mary Jo" on Cayuga Lake where many family outings were celebrated. In retirement he enjoyed 35 years of golf, friends, and family at Seven Lakes, FL. Thomas and Mary Lou were proud, ambitious, generous parents who gave all to their children. Family always came first - the love was unconditional. His Methodist faith carried him though out his well lived life.Dad will be greatly missed by his family and friends. National Cremation Society will provide their services. A celebration of our father's wonderful life will be held this summer-date to be announced in future.
