Thomas Winston Eugene Hauser passed away on December 3, 2016 in Leona, TX. He was born on January 31, 1924 in Sheldon, Missouri to Ralph Brown and Daisy Irene Hauser. Tom resided mainly in Kansas City, Missouri and El Campo, Texas. He proudly served in the United States Navy in WWII from 1940-1945 in Pacific Fleet on the Mount Vernon, as a Boatswain mate (Petty Officer 2 nd class). Tom was a lifetime member of the American Legion. He served as president of the El Campo Little League Baseball Program; in 1961 they advanced into the finals of the Little League World Series. Tom's main occupation was regional sales manager in the food distribution business; he worked for Sunshine Biscuits, Bordens Milk, Cookbook Bread, Shasta Beverage and Walmart throughout his years. He enjoyed weekend farming and ranching. Tom is one of the last of our greatest generation having lived through the great depression.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Brown Hauser and Daisy Irene Henson, sisters, Fern Ready and Mildred Holt; daughter, Joy Dale Hauser. He is survived by his spouse of 39 years, Marcella Ivon Cline Hauser, sons, Thomas Dale Hauser and wife Suzanne Parks, Timothy Joe Hauser and wife Carolyn Steward, Daniel Eugene Hauser and wife Carol Robuck Tusing; Gary William Hauser and wife Christy Weeks, grandchildren, Colby, Holly, Kevin, Anthony, Travis, Mark, Brooke, Andrea, Eric, Shaun and Chase, great grandchildren, Madeleine, Beau, Nick, Bennett, Tyler, Jacob, Cole, Mason, Callie, Sarah, Lauren, Katlin, Gracie, Riley, Preston and John.
