Thomas Lenn Hampton “known as Sweet”  from  Hampton Hill was born on June 7,1945 to the late Mrs. Cellie Hampton and Robert Hampton. He departed his life Saturday February 15,2025 at Sovah Health in Martinsville Va. He was 79 years old. He was known to everyone as the “Pallet Man”. He was a faithful member of Star Bethlehem Way of the Cross where he was known to be found on the front seat. He could also be found on a tractor/ bulldozer or in the house watching westerns. He loved  to go fishing just like he loved to be at the flea market on Saturday’s  morning. Sweet was a very determine man that would try to help anyone.

He preceded in death with his daughter Lafaye Ann Hampton and grandson  Antwain Hampton. He is also now reunited with all his brother except his twin. He was left to cherish his loving wife Annie Elizabeth Hampton, His twin brother George Hampton (Liza) known as Buchie to most of axton Virginia. His children Margaret Sims, Thomas Lenn Hampton Jr, William Hampton and Danyell Hampton all of North Carolina. He also had a daughter in love Beatrice Childress. A  very special grandson Antonio Hampton (Jessica). He also had numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives.
