WRIGHT, Theresa Marie Age 95, passed away in her home in Rohnert Park, CA on Sunday, November 20, 2016. Theresa was born on July 13, 1921, in Mt. Kisco, NY to Italian immigrants, Graziano and Barbara Altamura. She was the third eldest of six children, preceded in death by brothers Frank and Nick and sister Grace. Survived by brother Joe and sister Anna of Florida. She lived her first 21 years in Mt. Kisco, NY, working at her parent's grocery store, then moving to Bridgeport, CT to work at Remington Arms where she met her future husband, Joseph Wright. She and Joe were married on January 3, 1943, in Mt. Kisco, NY and spent 69 years together before his passing on July 10, 2012. They shared a life in the United States Air Force for 26 years, traveling to Japan, Germany and many states, before retiring in California and moving to Rohnert Park in 1975. Theresa enjoyed bowling, playing cards, gardening and being a greeter at St. Elizabeth's. Above all, she loved her family and friends. Theresa was a fabulous cook and family meals were epic. If she knew you were visiting, you were in for a treat, maybe the best pizza you ever had, fried zucchini, panettone, apple strip or some other delight. Theresa is survived by her children Barbara Wright (Joe Caputo), Joe Wright (Leslee) and Liz Smith (Don); grandchildren Aaron, Adam, Dina, Cara (Sean), Joe, Dan, Lindsay (Chris), Teri (David), Dan and Kim; great-grandchildren, Nadya, Spencer, Leyton, Tinley, Lucca, Ellie, Greydon, Kason, Jessica and Jaydan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Raijiel, Josy, Mary and Kara for their loving care for the past two years. So, Mom, Grandma, GG, you will be missed, loved and always in our hearts. A Catholic mass will be said on Thursday, December 1st , at 1:30 p.m. at St Elizabeth Seton, 4595 Snyder Lane, Rohnert Park, CA.
