ANDREWS, Thelma Ramona "Mona" 73, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 20, 2016. She was born on October 14, 1943, in Springfield, the daughter of the late Williard Jess Adkins and Sarah Alice (Caudill) Boaz. Mona is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald "Andy" Andrews; infant daughter, Jodi Warren; son, Steven Stolz; and 2 sisters, Jeannette Bonfiglio and Jeannine Hoberty. She is survived by her children, Cynthia Childers, Kimberly Hawley, Michelle Kimmell, Traci Warren (Charlie Bradley) and Jenny (John) Leffel; brothers and sister, William Caudill, Bonnie (Jim) Kress and Michael Adkins; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mona was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister who loved nothing more than cooking big meals and holiday dinners for her whole family to enjoy. She loved her family more than anything in the world and will be deeply missed by all of the lives she's touched. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 4-7p.m. at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER. A celebration of her life will be on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11a.m. Pastor Kevin Moehn officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
