Remembrances may be left for the family online at www.nampafuneralhome.com.Terry was born on May 16, 1951 to Kenneth and Doris (Bolinger) Crawford in Meridian. When Terry was 3 years old, Kenneth married Ethel Andrews of Nampa, who became his lifelong mom. Terry attended Meridian schools and graduated in 1970. Upon graduation, Terry felt God's call to the ministry and attended Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota. In March of his junior year, he married Wanda Schneider of Weiser. That summer, they did a missions internship, serving Native Americans in North Dakota. Terry graduated from college in 1973, becoming a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. After returning to Boise, Terry went to work for Dale's Chevron until he and Wanda accepted the pastorate in New Meadows. Three years later, Terry and Wanda felt God's call once again to return to the Boise area. He went back to work at Dale's Chevron as manager and attained his certification as a Master Auto Technician. During this time Terry and Wanda were actively involved in Children's Ministry. In 1982, with Dale Guyer's encouragement, Terry and Wanda purchased Treasure Valley Chevron in Nampa across from the post office. When the ground lease expired, and Chevron decided not to renew, Terry and Wanda closed the station and purchased Caldwell Chevron. In 1997, they expanded their business, opening Greenhurst Chevron. In 2005, they opened Kuna Chevron. Terry and Wanda enjoyed serving their customers, and they appreciate the Treasure Valley's support of their businesses. Over the years, Terry's calling to ministry took on many different facets. Whether it was doing puppet shows for children's ministry, preaching at Heritage Retirement Center on Sunday mornings, or simply providing support to full-time pastors and their families, Terry remained faithful. Terry and Wanda have been active members at Christian Faith Center in Nampa. Besides being the ultimate handyman, Terry enjoyed his toys, such as snowmobiles and 4-wheelers, as they allowed him to connect with people. Many friends and family have survived a crazy, Crawford adventure with Terry. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hiking, golfing, and hunting. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Terry is survived by his wife of 44 years, Wanda; daughter, Kristi Crawford of Meridian, daughter, Jodi and her husband, Jason Ohlaug of Meridian; grandchildren, Noah and Kaylee, sister, Joanne Quinno (Mike) of Boise, brother, Rick Crawford (Helen) of Clallam Bay, WA, aunt, Darlene Atkinson of Boise, and numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Ethel Crawford, grandparents, Ernest and Arline Crawford, grandparents, Paul and Alma Bolinger, and brother, Craig (Skip) Crawford. The family would like to thank the staff of Nampa MISTI and St. Luke's Hospice for all their help, concern, and compassion. He is no longer in pain but is rejoicing in his reward in his forever home. In lieu of flowers, Terry requested donations be sent to Nampa Christian Elementary School, 505 W. Orchard Ave., Nampa, ID 83651 or Mission Aviation Fellowship, 112 N. Pilatus Ln, Nampa, ID 83687.
