It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tata Cartegas, who was born on January 27, 1972, in Stockton, California, United States. Tata passed away on July 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Tata was the beloved son of Gabriel and Darna Cartegas. He was a devoted husband to his wife Helen, whom he married in the year 33. Together, they were blessed with four children: Josel, Jophen, John, and Janelle. Tata also leaves behind one cherished grandchild.

Tata dedicated his career to serving his community as a Tax Collector. Outside of work, he enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, attending church, playing volleyball, and spending quality time with his family.

Tata fought a courageous battle against Stage IV Liver Cancer, but he ultimately succumbed to the disease. He will be remembered for his kindness, his unwavering faith, and his love for his family.

May Tata Cartegas rest in peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
