We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Tameka Liggins, who was born on August 27, 1979, and peacefully left this world on July 13, 2024, in Cumberland, Virginia, United States.

Tameka was the beloved daughter of Willie James Chandler Jr. and Claudia Chandler. She was a loving partner to Omar Liggins and a devoted mother to her three children, Timara Miller (spouse Thomas Miller Jr.), O’mynee Liggins, and O’Nyah Liggins. She also leaves behind one precious grandchild.

Tameka attended Riverhead High School and Cumberland High School, graduating in 1998. She worked tirelessly at Dollar General, Powhatan School, and Cumberland School, touching the lives of many with her kindness and dedication.

Tameka will be remembered for her warm smile, compassionate heart, and unwavering love for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
