On August 15, 2022, we said goodbye to our beloved Tamara Gibson of North Charleston, South Carolina. She was born on November 17, 1981, to her loving parents Fredrick Lee Black and Faith “MeMe” Gibson.

Tamara leaves behind her three precious children, Amayah Gibson, Tah’Quan Mason, and Nehemiah “Miah” Jordan. She also leaves behind one cherished grandchild.

Tamara had a fulfilling life, graduating from Savannah High School in 1998 and South Carolina State University in 2000. She worked at Wingstop before retiring in 2005 and was actively involved in the Dance, Sing, Soccer, and Cheerleading organization. She received 15 awards for her dedication and passion.

One of Tamara’s greatest joys was dancing. She could often be found dancing her heart out and bringing a smile to everyone around her.

Despite battling cancer for 10 years, Tamara never lost her zest for life and continued to spread joy wherever she went. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
