It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kim Tae-gyu, who was born on April 21, 1935, and peacefully passed away on December 3, 2025, in Incheon, South Korea, at the age of 90.

Mr. Kim Tae-gyu was married to Lee Yoon-soon, and they had a daughter, Kim Myung-soon, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by two granddaughters, Cotran Lisa and Sylvia, who reside in the United States.

Mr. Kim Tae-gyu dedicated his life to academia and served as a professor at Seoul National University. His knowledge and wisdom will remain a precious legacy to all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on December 12, 2025.
