Suzanne DeCray, a beloved resident of Ardmore, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 25, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on August 13, 1940, to her loving parents John DeWitt Beattie and Eleanor Eames Beattie. She was raised with her younger brother David O. Beattie (Constance) who had one daughter, Alice E. Williams (spouse Paul).

Suzanne was married to her beloved husband, Robert A. DeCray, in 1963 and together they raised three wonderful children: David S. (spouse Marie), James A. (spouse Caroline), and Amy E. Gattone (spouse John). She was also a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren (John, Dante, and Alex Gattone; Morgan, Katherine, Caroline, and Jacob DeCray; and David DeCray)

After graduating Haverford Senior High School in 1958, Suzanne continued her education at Wesley Junior College. She later went on to work at Medical College of Pennsylvania retiring in 1982. To be home with her children, Suzanne worked doing childcare in her home and then became a nanny for many years.

Suzanne lived a life full of grace, infectious laughter, and love of her family. She was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith. She was a long term active member of the Overbrook Presbyterian Church Choir. Suzanne touched the lives of many with her generosity and compassion. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and touched. Suzanne's legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
