Susan Michelle Reames of Oscoda passed away at her home in Oscoda on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 at age 45. Susan was born on Dec. 7, 1965 in Flint to Patricia and Robert Reames. She was a student in special education and was a former employee of Tawas United Methodist Church. She had many special interests including playing on the computer, artistry and bingo. Susan was a member of Oscoda American Legion Auxiliary Post 274. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Ann Brown of Oscoda. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Debra Ann (Vernell) Drechsel of Fergus Falls, Minn., Margaret Mary (Richard) Dorr of Lincoln, James Joseph (Laurie) Reames of Oolitic, Ind. and Pamila Marie (Stevens) Laursen of Oscoda. Susan also had many nieces and nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ormand Reames; brothers, Robert Ormand Reames Jr. and Scott Anthony Reames; stepfather, Edmund Brown; and her grandparents. A memorial service was held at the American Legion Hall in Oscoda on Saturday, Nov, 19 at with Pastor Rob Nordin officiating.
