Susan Claire Breden, 65, passed away on Monday, November 6th, 2017 in Grapevine, TX. She was born on September 19th, 1952 in Albuquerque, NM to Orvan and Nettie Wheeler. She attended high school in Alamogordo, NM where she graduated as valedictorian of the Class of 1970. She attended the University of New Mexico where she excelled in orchestra, especially violin, and graduated with a degree in Music Education in 1974. She was married to the love of her life, Stephen Breden, on May 25th, 1974 in Alamogordo, NM. They were married for 43 beautiful years. After college she taught music education for several years and then entered the insurance industry. She achieved the position of director prior to her retirement. She resided in Colleyville, TX at the time of her death and was a deeply loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her husband Stephen, her son Douglas Breden of Austin, TX, her daughter Kristin Jarzombek (and her husband Allen) of Birmingham, AL, her granddaughter Adeline Jarzombek, her brother Michael Wheeler of Fairfax Station, VA, and her sister Pamela Lange of Boise, ID. She was preceded in death by her mother Nettie and her father Orvan. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 11th, 2017 at 11 am at Feragne Villa located at 755 Mid Cities Blvd. in Hurst, TX. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lupus Foundation of America.
