Sue Weaver Sue Weaver passed away peacefully on Monday, September 19, 2016, in Reno Nevada. Susana, her childhood name, was born on June 1, 1924, in Messilla Park, New Mexico. She was one of six children born to Susano and Abrahana Martinez. As a young child her family moved to San Lucas, California, where Sue was raised. She attended King City High School and worked at various jobs in King City growing up. Sue married the love of her life, Mervin " Buck " Weaver on March 16, 1946. She moved with her family to Morro Bay in 1956. She was a licensed child care provider for many years and her passion for her family and the children in-trusted to her was immeasurable. Her love for her family was unconditional, and she was a mother to everyone who entered her home. Sue was preceded in her death by her loving husband Mervin of 59 years. She is survived by her children: sons, Stuart (Macel) of Morro Bay and Stanley of Morro Bay; daughter, Carol of Reno, Nevada; granddaughters, Lacey and Sheena of Reno, Nevada; and great- grandchildren, Asiya, Marcos, Sebastian, Devine, Asher and Jett. Sue was laid to rest next to her husband in a private ceremony at the Cayucos Cemetery.
