Mr. Newberry, 83, of Charlotte, died September 3, 2019.
Funeral service is 1:00 PM Monday  September 9, 2019 at From The Heart  Church Ministries of Charlotte, 1100 N. Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte, with visitation from 11:00-12:00 PM. Interment in Sunset Memory Gardens, Charlotte. Left to cherish his memory are three sisters, Annie Lee Richardson, Lizzie Washington and Ruby Collier, and three grandchildren, LaSonia Newberry, Anisa Bruton and Kia Newberry. Mr. Newberry was predeceased by one daughter, Gail Lorraine Newberry. Long & Son Mortuary Service is serving the Newberry family.
