Steven Wayne AnnisonJacksonSteven Wayne Annison passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017, in Jackson, Miss. He was born on November 24, 1954, to Herman Hubert Annison, Jr., and Wanda Persac Annison in Shreveport, La. At the age of 8, he moved to Jackson when his father was called to manage the Mississippi Coliseum and create the Dixie National Rodeo and Livestock Show. His childhood was spent in North Jackson and around the state fair grounds and Coliseum. As with many things in his life, Stevie found more fun outside of the rigors of academics and baseball. He transferred to USM, where according to different accounts, he may or may not have graduated. With a long and diverse employment in sales, he never met a stranger and was known for his comedic personality.
