Steven Luis Maldonado was born in Puerto Rico where he resided most of his life. He married Laura Maldonado on August 5, 1995 and from this union was born 3 beautiful children, Sofia, Alejandro, and Juan Maldanado. In December of 2002 Steven moved his family to Opelousas, Louisiana to be closer to his mother and other siblings. Steven was an active member in the community and a retired police officer. Steven also loved being outdoors and spent most of his free time fishing and volunterring at his church.
Steven was proceeeded in death by his mother, Antonia Rodriguez; his two sister's, Ines Maldanodo and Elena Gonzalez and his brother Carlos Maldanado. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and a host of neices, nephews, friends and family who will truly miss him.
