It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Spades, who was born to the late Ina Ruth Spades and Richard Judkins Spades on October 20, 1951 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, United States. Steven passed away on April 19, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Judkins Spades and Ina Ruth Spades.

Steven leaves behind a loving family, including his siblings; Richard Judkins Spades, Samuel Spades (Becky), Julie McCarroll (Billy), his children; Jessica Hankins (Robert), Casey Spades, Julie Counce (Timothy), Steven Spades ( Paula), and Sean Spades. He was also the proud grandfather of six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Steven dedicated his life to serving his country and community. He worked for the Arkansas State Police and also served in the Air Force after graduating from high school, where he displayed courage and honor in all that he did.

Steven will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and selflessness. He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
