Stephen Cousins, 71Stephen Charles Cousins, 71, of Mountain Home, AR passed away on October 18, 2017 at his home. Stephen was born on February 21, 1946 in Clinton, Iowa to Marion Thomas and Katherine (Leeper) Cousins. He graduated from Elvira High School in 1964. Stephen married Bonnie Keith in 1967. They had three daughters, Joni, Lori and Beth. He loved farming, building cabinets and furniture and working with wood. He also had a love for stock car racing. He farmed the family farm for fifteen years and worked for Nestle's Purina for thirty-three years.He was active in 4-H and joined the Low Moor Methodist Church in his youth. He was past president of the Classic Chevy Club of N.C.A.M.H. and president of the Tracy Ferry Fire Commission.Stephen is survived by his wife, Bonnie Cousins of the home; three daughters, Joni Lombardi of Washington D.C., Lori Ray and her husband, Lee of El Paso, Texas and Beth Hodges and her husband, Dr. Michael of Mountain Home, AR; eight grandchildren, Michael, Kirstianna and Nico Lombardi, Stephen, Alex and Jared Ray and Avery and Quinn Hodges; one sister, Marian Snell and her husband Norman of Davenport, Iowa and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Merritt Cousins.No visitation is scheduled. A car cruise and celebration of life will be held in the spring.
