Stanley C. Walters, Jr.Spring Garden Twp.Stanley C. Walters, Jr., 74, passed away on October 31, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of Cecelia M. (O'Connor) Walters. They were married 44 years on September 9, 2017.Stanley was born on June 21, 1943 in York, Nebraska. Son of the late Margaret L. (Ballenger) and Stanley C. Walters, Sr.Stanley was a U.S. Army veteran. He played for the Baltimore Orioles and also played slow pitch softball in the York area. He later worked as a car hauler. Visitation with the family will be held from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. 902 Mt. Rose Ave., York.In addition to his wife, Stanley is also survived by a daughter, Anne-Marie Walters of Brogue; a son, Christopher Walters, of Brogue; three grandchildren, Nicole Marie Kuentzler and husband, Chad, Taylor Marie Blose and husband, Nathan, Marlea Graehling; three great-grandchildren, Rowan Kuentzler, Vetallia Bowman, and Aurora Blose. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Straw.Memorial contributions may be made to Speedwell Forge Wolf Sanctuary of PA, 465 Speedwell Forge Road Lititz, PA 17543 KefferFH.com
