STANLEY G. HAACK, 80 FREEPORT - Stanley G. Haack, 80 of Freeport, died Friday, May 24, 2013, at Liberty Village. He was born on December 1, 1932, in Freeport, the son of Melvin and Evelyn (Wirtjes) Haack. Stanley worked in Washington D.C. for the U.S. Government Civil Services. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Stanley liked to travel and read. He was a 1950 graduate of Freeport High School, and a graduate of Bradley University. Survivors include one sister, Marilyn Brandenburg of Tucson, AZ; also two cousins, Gene (Lynn) Heeren of Freeport and Rick (Reanne) Heeren of Heyworth, IL. Preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Burke-Tubbs. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Tom McClellan will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
