We are gathered here today to remember the life and laugh of Sonyia Cole, who passed away on July 20, 2025, in Winder, Georgia. She was born on April 3, 1949, and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a lot of sass.

Sonyia was known for her love of the outdoors, whether she was fishing, hiking, or just soaking up the sun in her backyard. She was truly in her element when she was outside, and always had a smile on her face when she was surrounded by nature.

She leaves behind four children, Tina Ferrence, Vance Whitener, Keisha Cole, and Desiree Cole, who will forever cherish the memories of their adventurous and quick-witted mother. Sonyia also leaves behind eight grandchildren, who may have inherited her love of the outdoors and her sense of humor.

Sonyia lived life to the fullest and never missed an opportunity to make those around her laugh. Her spirit will forever live on in the stories and memories she shared with all who knew her. Rest in peace, Sonyia, and may you always have clear skies and plenty of fish to catch in the great beyond.
