Sofia Rose Perez, 77, passed on December 17, 2022. She was born to Carlos and Maria on August 10, 1945. She was born and raised in Mattydale where she raised her one daughter.

Her happy was the kitchen where she loved to cook and bake. Christmas was one of her favorite times, where she would bake all of her holiday goodies- they will sure be missed.

She married Joseph in 45 and they lived together in Syracuse, New York. Together they raised 1 child Ana (Mateo). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.

Sofia graduated from Nottingham high school and received a degree from the OCM Boces.

Sofia worked at Licensed Practical Nurse until she retired in 2014 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. She always serve a helping hand in the community by donating and giving back to others not only was she was a wonderful mother. She was a fantastic grandmother, and a amazing person overall.
