1932 ~ 2016Our beloved Father and Poppy passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 15, 2016 surrounded by his daughters. He was born on June 7, 1932 in Kamas, Utah to William and Nora White Milliner, the tenth of eleven children. He married Mary Coleman, his high school sweetheart in the Salt Lake LDS Temple following an honorable discharge from the U.S.
Army. Shirman was artistic, and creative. He was an inventive and successful businessman. His greatest passion was people. He extended love, acceptance, and generosity to all he knew and met. This is our most treasured gift from him. He is survived by daughters, Carrie (James) Morrell, Marty (Bryan) Richmond, Dana (Robert) Earl; fourteen loved grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and his devoted sister, Shanna VanWagoner. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Mary.Funeral services will be Monday, December 19, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Valley View 10th Ward LDS Chapel, 2000 East 3900 South, Salt Lake City, UT. Friends may call that same day from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., prior to services.
