BESSEMER CITY - Shirley Ann Huntsinger Strickland, 77, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, at Kings Mountain Hospital.She was born on May 7, 1939, in Gaston County, to the late Grover and Sarah Mayes Huntsinger.She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Nelson Strickland; her son, Kenneth Strickland; grandson, Billy Patterson.Left to cherish her memories are her son, Scott Strickland; daughters, Anita Strickland and Lisa Patterson; daughter-in-law, Elaine Strickland; sister, Betty Marshall; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City.Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, at God Can Baptist Church, 102 E. Georgia Ave. Bessemer City with the Rev. Randy Richardson, her son Scott Strickland and the Rev.
