GREENFIELD - Shirley May Scryba (Stratton) died peacefully, surrounded by her family on October 22, 2016 in Greenfield, MA at the age of 92.Shirley was born on February 16, 1924 in Surry, NH to George Walter Stratton and Edna Mable Stratton (Stevenson). She lived in Keene, NH and Greenfield, MA. She was a long-time employee of Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. Shirley enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and going for walks. Her true passion was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Shirley is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sherri Buntlin of Greenfield; her granddaughters, Tenaya Read and her husband Frederick of Easthampton and Jaimee Constantine and her husband Timothy of Shelburne Falls; her grandsons, Timothy Gerry Jr. and his wife Rose of Hinsdale, Stephen Maynard, and Jason Maynard, both of Greenfield; three great-grandsons, Timothy, Fritz, and Jakub; and many nieces. She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Buntlin; her first husband, Vernon Buntlin; and her second husband, Peter Scryba.There will not be any service per her wishes.
