Shirley Peoples, born on April 27, 1950, lived her life to the fullest until her untimely passing on April 27, 2023. She was deeply loved by her family, friends and colleagues, and will be sorely missed.
Shirley was a remarkable woman who embraced life with passion and purpose. She had an infectious personality that made everyone comfortable around her. Her kindness, generosity and unending compassion will never be forgotten.
Shirley led a fascinating life that was filled with many adventures. She graduated from college with a degree in Education in 1972, and went on to become a highly respected teacher, helping to shape the lives of countless young people over the years. She was admired for her unwavering dedication to her students and her commitment to their success.
Shirley was also a talented artist, with an eye for detail and a love of color. Her paintings brought joy to all those who saw them, and her work was displayed in galleries and exhibits around the world.
Shirley's greatest joy, however, was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved nothing more than spending time with her loved ones. She was a constant source of support and encouragement for all those around her, and will be remembered as a woman who touched many lives in profound ways.
Shirley leaves behind her loving husband of 50 years, John Peoples, her two children, Michael and Lisa, and four grandchildren. Her warmth, her generosity and her spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
