Sherman Potts, 71, of Ecorse, Michigan, passed away on July 16, 2024, due to heart failure.

Sherman was born on February 18, 1953, to parents Thomas Johnson and Edith Potts. He attended Inkster High School, where he graduated in 1972.

He worked at Ford Motor Company and was a dedicated employee for many years.

Sherman is survived by his three children: Stephen Jones (spouse Mary Jones), Cynthia Potts (spouse Angela George), and Timothy Potts (spouse May Lou Anderson). He also leaves behind seven beloved grandchildren.

Sherman had a passion for music and enjoyed sharing it with his grandchildren, Stephanie Jones and Courtney Taylor, in recent years.

Although Sherman will be deeply missed, his memory will live on through his family and friends who loved him dearly.
