Sheilonda Ann Thompson, 62, Gary, Indiana, tragically passed away on August 02, 2023. Sheilonda was born on September 15, 1960 to LaVern Cannon and Naomi Cannon. She was the fourth of eight siblings. Known as "Charlie" Sheilonda graduated from Roosevelt High in 1979. She had 3 children Alisha Monique Williams, Michael Williams Jr. and Marcus Dwayne Williams and seven surviving siblings Sandy(Wendell)Cannon, Linda(Marquis)Hightower, Vern Cannon, Gregory(Natalia)Cannon, Marvin(Bacondrial)Cannon, and Teresa Cannon, she preceded in death her mother Naomi Cannon(2023) and brother Pervise Cannon(2023). She had 4 grandchildren with 1 on the way. 18 nieces and nephews and 42 great nieces and nephews. Charlie was a hard worker and was dedicated to making sure she looked her best even if she was just going to the grocery store. She faithfully read her bible and loved talking with her brothers and sisters. She will be truly missed.
