We are saddened to announce the passing of Sheila Pitts better known as Candy, who was born on September 24, 1953, and passed away on February 11, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Sheila was the beloved daughter of Charles and Retha Bell.

Sheila was married to Leroy Pitts in 1972 and they were blessed with two children, Walletha Pitts and Leroy Pitts III, his spouse Jacqueline Pitts. Sheila was a loving grandmother to Malia Pitts, Leroy Pitts IV, Arturo Azcarate Jr., and Brandon Couch. Great grandmother to Arielle Paisley Azcarate.

Sheila attended Robert A. Taft High School and graduated in 1972. She went on to have a successful career at GM Motor Company and retired in 2008.

Sheila was known for her love of fishing, camping, and crocheting and cutting a rug a time or two. She had a gentle soul and was always there for her family and friends.

Sheila will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
