VandenHeuvel, SharonSharon "Shari" VandenHeuvel, 70, of Green Bay, passed away in her home on Tuesday, October 3rd after a brief struggle with cancer. She was born on July 6, 1947, daughter of the late John and Margret Davis.Shari was a long-time waitress at Kroll's East, a job she really loved! In 2013, she retired from Aurora Bay Care Medical Center. She enjoyed spending time at her cottage in Lakewood, vacationing and having a good time with her "Golden Girls".Survivors include her sons, Shannon (Jodi) VandenHeuvel and Derek (Brenda) VandenHeuvel, her brothers Mike Davis and Pat (LuAnn) Davis, her grandchildren Sam, Emma, Alexa, Zach, Alyssa, Alex and Audrey. She is also survived by Gary VandenHeuvel (father of her sons), her very best friend Sue Brosz, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who loved her very much!Shari was preceded in death by her parents, her sister-in-law Linda Davis, and her faithful companion Joey, who was put to rest on October 2, 2017.A celebration of Shari's life will be held on Monday, October 9th at JobSite, 1647 Cass Street, from 4pm to 7pm.
