This obituary is administered by:

CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF

Sharon Leigh Winn was born in Chicago, Il on June 18, 1981, to Jacqueline L Winn and Lee Harper. She attended Mt. Vernon grammar school and went to Julian High School.Sharon loved to do hair and her name was "Shae The Hair Guru". She also had a beautiful voice and loved to sing and dance.

Sharon was definitely a fighter. She fought her battle with breast cancer with courage for 9 years and she always talked about it or sang about it on social media.

While Sharon left us far too soon, the impact she had on our family will be felt for years to come. Sharon is survived by her parents Lee Harper and Jacqueline Winn, her daughter Saunti Leigh Winn, her sisters Darsha (Nikky) Winn, Julie Holden, Linda Harper McGee, and her brother Lee C. Harper Jr, nephew Dante Carter, niece Daria Tindall, her grandparents Gwendolyn and Louis Winn, and a host of cousins, aunts, family, and friends.

SHARON'S HOPE

I always knew this time would come

I wondered how it would be

To round the corner on the road

And there the bridge would be

The bridge I have to cross

Our loved ones left behind

The one I feared most of my life

Now it is my time

Allow me not to suffer

And keep me pain free

Let me cross with my head held high

Please let my keep my dignity

With help from family and friends here on earth

My courage all intact

I'll cross the bridge with honor and grace

Never to look back

You can to the family or in memory of Sharon Winn.
