Sharon Prothro peacefully passed away on October 2, 2025, in Ridgecrest, California, at the age of 67. She was born on July 30, 1958, to Zebedee Adair and Freddie Mae Adair.

Sharon married Fritz Marcus Prothro in the year 27, and together they had two beautiful children, Latanisha Lachelle Sawyer (married to Anthony Sawyer) and Latrisha Marie Prothro. She was also a proud grandmother to six adoring grandchildren.

Sharon attended Burroughs High School, graduating in 1976, before furthering her education at Cerro Coso Community College, where she graduated in 1981. She pursued a career as a Registered Nurse, dedicating herself to caring for others until her retirement in 2003.

Outside of her professional life, Sharon had a passion for working in the yard, creating beautiful gardens and spending time surrounded by nature.

Sharon will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. In her memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived and cherish the love and laughter she brought into the world.
