Wolfe, 20, died Tuesday, August 15 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident at his duty station in Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX. He was born on December 19, 1996 in Lebanon, the son of Thomas and Kristen (Kline) Wolfe. He attended the Lebanon County Career and Technology Center where he studied Landscaping and graduated from Cedar Crest High School in 2015. He was serving in the United States Army as a tank command specialist.The U.S. Army recently created an additional physical endurance test called the Soldier Readiness Test (SRT) administered at four bases across the United States. Among the soldiers in his unit, Shane was the only one to successfully complete the test.Shane is survived by his parents, Thomas and Kristen of Lebanon; his brothers, Thomas Jr. and Jacob; and his sister, Deanna. He also leaves his maternal grandfather, and paternal grandmother. He is survived by cousins, including Allen, and Brandon to whom he was close; several aunts and uncles; and many friends. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, where a viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
