Shamika Powell, beloved daughter of Bryon and Jamie Ann Devlin Christmas, passed away on July 22, 2025 in Arlington, Texas.

Shamika was born on August 21, 2000 and grew up in Arlington with her siblings ShaMario, ShaMya, and ShaQuan. She attended Petersburg High School and graduated in 2019. After school, she dedicated her time to working at Arlington Memorial Hospital and volunteering with the Feed the Homeless organization.

Shamika had a zest for life and enjoyed hobbies like reading and dancing. Her infectious laugh and bright smile brought joy to everyone around her.

Though her life was cut short by tragedy, Shamika will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering spirit.
