We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Shakira Collins, who left us far too soon on March 12, 2026. Born on June 18, 2009, in Durham, North Carolina, Shakira was the cherished daughter of Allen and Kenya Collins.

Shakira was a bright young soul who brought joy to everyone around her. She attended Oxon Hill High School and graduated in 2024, before furthering her education at Duke University of Law and graduating in 2029. She was a dedicated student with a passion for cosmetology, which she turned into a successful career as a cosmetologist.

Outside of her work, Shakira had a love for all things beauty-related. From makeup tutorials to hair styling, she was always experimenting and learning new techniques. Her creativity and talent were truly unmatched.

Although Shakira did not have any children of her own, she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and positivity that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Unfortunately, Shakira's life was cut short due to complications from epilepsy. While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.

Shakira, you will always hold a special place in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear friend.
