On August 11, 2024, we said goodbye to our beloved Selden Stephens of Downey, California. Born on September 22, 1955, Selden was the son of Selden Octavius Stephens and Marcella Stephens.

Selden lived a fulfilling life as a Teacher and hairstylist, dedicating his time to educating and making others look and feel their best. His passion for doing hair was evident in his work, bringing joy to those he encountered.

Although Selden did not have any children of his own, he touched the lives of many with his kind and caring spirit. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and the community he served.

In his free time, Selden enjoyed indulging in his hobby of doing hair, always seeking to perfect his craft and create beautiful styles for all. His creativity and talent will forever be remembered by those who knew him.

May Selden Stephens rest in peace, knowing that he made a lasting impact on those around him. He will be forever cherished and missed.
