John 3:16Saul D. Sanchez, 41, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2016 at a Boise hospital. Saul was born on January 13, 1975 in Caldwell, Idaho one of 3 children, to Samuel C. Sanchez Sr. and Maria (Laura) D. Sanchez. He attended Greenleaf Friends Academy and graduated from Vallivue High School in 1994. Saul worked at several auto parts stores and car dealerships as a counter man. He then began to work for the City of Caldwell water department. Saul had a passion for anything that traveled fast. He loved fast cars, but his true passion was motorcycles. When he was a teenager he trained and tried bull riding. Saul married Angela Crawford on August 23, 2006. From this union, he had a son Trea Sanchez and two stepdaughters, Taylor and Kaitlin. They eventually divorced in April 2013. Saul is survived by his parents, Samuel Sr. & Maria (Laura) Sanchez; brother, Samuel Sanchez Jr. (Carri); sister, Sarai Sanchez; son, Trea Sanchez; step daughters, Taylor Gonce, Kaitlin Gonce; Nephew, Cameron Sanchez; nieces, Enedina, Daniella and Annalise Cardona, Samantha Sanchez; and his best friend, Brad (Joanna) Bartrop, several uncles, aunts and cousins. Saul is now free to ride in heaven among the clouds and drag race with his long time friend, David Cardenas. The family would like to thank all of Saul's friends for their support throughout his illness, Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, West Valley Medical Center, Vibra Hospital, Liberty Dialysis, and a special thank you to Dr. Christopher Keller. A viewing will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Greenleaf Friends Church in Greenleaf. A potluck dinner will follow immediately after the service at The Greenleaf Community Center across the street from the church.
